Angelina Jolie has secured another major courtroom victory in her long running legal battle against ex husband Brad Pitt over the French winery Château Miraval. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge recently ruled that Pitt cannot force Jolie to hand over a set of private emails connected to the 2021 sale of her stake in the luxury winery. The decision marks a significant setback for Pitt, whose legal team argued the communications were essential to the ongoing dispute surrounding ownership and business agreements tied to the famous estate once shared by Hollywood’s most powerful former couple.

The judge sided with Jolie’s argument that the requested emails are protected under attorney client privilege, determining Pitt had not provided sufficient justification to override those protections.
