In a bold move that reinforces Southern California’s position as a national leader in creative innovation, Nexus Community Collaboration (NXCC) has announced the launch of nX Annex, a vibrant new hub designed to elevate artistic voices and unite communities through the power of the arts.

The Bakersfield, CA nonprofit, recognized for its inclusive and interdisciplinary programming, is expanding its mission with a permanent space that will serve as a haven for creatives across mediums and backgrounds. Slated for a soft opening this summer followed by a grand opening in fall 2025, the nX Annex will host a wide range of programming—from art exhibitions and music performances to poetry readings, workshops, and collaborative projects.

This new facility represents more than just brick and mortar.
