Celebrity Hairstylist Jenn Lagron Suffers “Devastating Injuries” After Being Hit by Alleged Drunk Driver

Jenn Lagron, the renowned hairstylist behind some of Hollywood’s most iconic looks, is now facing the biggest battle of her life following a horrific accident in Los Angeles.

On April 27, Lagron who’s worked with stars such as Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, Sinead Harnett, and Chrissy Teigen was struck by an alleged drunk driver while walking along Abbot Kinney Boulevard, according to The New York Post.

The accident left her with “devastating injuries,” including a severely damaged arm, a fractured vertebrae in her neck, and a damaged artery near her spinal cord, as shared on a GoFundMe page set up by close friend and fellow hairstylist Brandon Pietsch.

Just two days after the incident, Lagron underwent two major surgeries to begin repairing the extensive damage. One operation involved replacing nerves in her arm with nerves from her leg, and she will now temporarily rely on a wheelchair.

“We are so grateful for the success of both of her surgeries and are hopeful for a strong recovery ahead,” Pietsch shared in a heartfelt update on April 29.

But he also emphasized the uphill battle she faces: “Doctors anticipate at least a year of rehabilitation ahead, during which she will be unable to work or support herself. Her recovery will be long and incredibly difficult.”

Pietsch launched the GoFundMe to help cover Jenn’s mounting medical expenses, physical therapy, rent, and daily needs, urging supporters to rally around someone who has always given so much to others.

“Jenn has always been a light in the lives of everyone around her,” he wrote. “Now, she needs that light reflected back to her.”

Among those showing support is fashion designer Kristin Juszczyk, wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who shared the news with her followers on Instagram:

“My girl @jennlagron was hit by a drunk driver last night,” Kristin wrote, calling the situation “sickening.” “She is the most amazing person and incredibly talented hair artist. She’s going to have a long road to recovery, so truly anything will help.”

As the hairstyling community and Jenn’s circle of celebrity clients rally around her, efforts to ease her financial burden continue. The GoFundMe is currently accepting donations to ensure Jenn can fully focus on healing physically, emotionally, and financially.
